The September equinox arrived (do you remember?🎵) marking the end of summer and start to fall—or as I call it, Pumpkin-flavored Season™.

Leaves are falling. Turtlenecks have emerged. Halloween stores have popped up in vacant store fronts. Lots of change, but one thing remains the same: cyber attackers continue to prefer phishing. And continue to make hay with it.

That’s why I’ve highlighted four key stats from the latest phishing trends report from APWG. September should be the month of Earth, Wind & Fire. And Pumpkin. But definitely not Wire Transfer Losses.
