Last Thursday, I woke up feeling lucky: the forecast showed sunny skies and high sixties – perfect Spring weather for April in Chicago – for our first Cyber Security Made Social gathering of the year in West Town. No doubt aided by the favorable weather, we had our second-best attendance to date.
Spring is upon us and with it March Madness. And as always with the Big Dance, there’s a Cinderella that’s busting brackets: St. Peter’s stunned 2-seed Kentucky and then 7-seed Murray State and is only the third 15-seed to ever make the Sweet 16. Regardless the outcome of their game later today, it’s certainly a reason to celebrate for the Peacocks.
Earlier this week was 2/22/22 – occurring on a Tuesday, no less. Or rather, Twosday. It was a once-in-a-lifetime palindrome date that won’t happen again for 400 years. A woman in North Carolina gave birth precisely at 2:22 am to a daughter in delivery room 2. Another mom in Pennsylvania, after 2 days in labor, welcomed not one baby, but twins. Deuces are wild!
January, the first month of the year — or as I’ve seen it called, a giant Monday. Call me crazy, but I don’t think a case of the Mondays is all that bad. It’s a time for looking ahead, sharpening pencils, drawing up goals, and setting your sights. We’re targeting more growth (and ditching the TPS reports). Wherever your Office Space is, we hope you’ve had a great month-long Monday. Tuesday starts next week!
